Crabbing continues to be amazing. 3 hour soak on 7 pots, 5 of us on board. We counted every keeper and there were 50 total! Kept 25, returned 25. All very nice size, most in the 7" range. Many others released were just under legal size and some were females. Bar none the best crabbing I have experienced in 10 years of crabbing. Great eating!

NOTE: Over the years I have always crabbed area 8-1 as it is close to home. Unless you have a secret spot in 8-1, crabbing there is poor due to Tribal crabbing before the sport season opened and the never before seen high numbers of pots fished by sport crabbers. It has been well worth the drive to Everett to launch at the 10th Street launch for the abundant crab numbers still in 8-2. Good luck all.
