Started out about 0800. Water surface temp was a solid 70 degrees. I motored over to the VA hospital and fished with pop gear, wedding ring, and a worm down about 20 feet in a about 50 feet of water. My fishfinder was marking a lot of fish right around 20 feet. Within two hours I had landed three 10-12 inch 'bows. I picked up another 'bow over by the marina about an hour later. It was the same size as the others. Then the storm clouds started to move in so I headed back to the launch.
BTW, the parking area has been greatly reduced. The area where you would normally park is now all fenced off. I guess this is because of 9-11.
All in all a good day.
