Hit the Mukilteo ramp at 5am, dropped 4 crab pots and headed to Possession Bar to try and get some Chinook. Started off with a shaker, maybe 18 inches or so. Then got a couple dogfish. Then had a monster on...or so I thought. Pole busted off the downrigger, I grabbed it and couldn't budge the fish. I'm trying with everything I got to bring it up and it won't move. Finally I get to the surface, and it's a huge dogfish that was foul-hooked right in the dorsal fin, and the thing was eating its own tail when it got to the surface. Man those fish are dumb. Arrgh! Wound up not getting any keepers, and it was a zoo out there...I'd guess at least 500 boats.

We did manage to bring home three dungies though. I'll be back, and hopefully i can get a keeper next time.
