Started the day fishing Possession, east end at 90 feet. Trolling three rigs. One humpy setup, two coho setups. Worked our way along the horseshoe contour and hit a nice 15 pound king on the SW side. Downrigger depth 85 feet, big bend on the cable so probably around 60 ft. deep. Caught on a large green hoochie, herring strip and flasher. Back he went. Finished the circuit with no luck except for dogfish. Moved over to the shipwreck hole around 11:30 and tried for humpies. In the next 1 1/2 hrs caught three and lost one. Depth was 65 feet on the DR, slow troll, pink hoochie and dodger. Best action came trolling south, letting the wind move us and just a bit of throttle. Tide was running out at this point. (low tide was 8:20 am). Feisty fish in the 4-5 pound range. Looks like it's beginning!
