Went out of the Mukilteo state park launch just as daylight hit on each day. There were about 30-40 fish brought up in about 4 hours. I caught one 2 pounder but decided to let it go. People were catching them on silver and gold salmon spoons in about 35-40 feet of water with downriggers. The one I caught was on a green glow squid with a slab of herring on a VERY fast troll (10 MPH), no downrigger (16oz ball weight ahead of my dodger). Almost all the fish were caught directly between possession point and ship wreck.

I had one hit (felt like a good size fish) about 7:00AM but lost it in a few seconds. I didn't catch anything but shakers after that. I headed over to Gedney (hat) Island and found that the fish would only hit on a North West troll in about 80 feet of water. As I said, all shakers. When I got the boat out of the water I talked with a few people and they said the bite came later in the morning. They came in with 4 fish in the ship wreck area.

No fish again. The wind picked up at about 9:30 and really started to blow the swells. Pretty much everyone was off the water by 11:00AM. I think the silver run is getting pretty thin in the Possession area because they came in so late. They are probably all headed up the Snohomish by now.
