The Everett Central Lion's Club had their annual "Blind Derby" where volunteer boat owners take out blind people to fish for salmon, usually the only trip they get for the year. Partner and I hit five fish for our passenger and she landed three of them. Not a bad day. Looks like the fish are coming in. We found a tide rip between the shipwreck at the tip of Possession and hit most of our fish working the rip. Not many others out with us since they tend to hang with the other boats. The fish are scattered still but when you find a school, stay with it and you will get fish-I was fishing at 65 feet with a Hot Spot flasher, green splatter back squid and a small strip of herring on the front hook, partner had candle fish squid with herring.
