Started at the south end of Widbey Island trolling north at 95 feet of cable and tried to stay about 100 feet of water depth. A very tough thing to do with the bottom having lots of humps. Both of us using hotspot flashers with me using a black and purple Coho Killer, and my partner using a multi colored coyote.
I caught 5 or 6 shakers before my partner caught his first fish. Just about the large fishing pier we really starting catching fish. We had 3 double hookups from there to the ferry landing. We eventually caught two keepers (a little over 4 pounds) , but it was hard to keep the little ones off the line.
Final count 17 for me and about 10 for my partner. All in all a wonderful cold, wet morning of fishing.....
