Well a group of us from work had made arrangements a few weeks before to fish at Neah for some Halibut. Caught the Edmond/Kingston ferry around noon and Friday and was setup by 5 p.m. at the Cape campground. Arrived at the docks at 5 a.m. the next morning to board the SugarFoot. At 5:30 a.m we were off to the fishing spot. About 3 1/2 hours later we arrived in some fairly calm seas. On the first pass we pulled 6 butts aboard and on the second pass we limited out with our group of 10. Excellent day of fishing! Weather was great and made it back to Neah Bay around 2:30. Next... Planning to do some shrimping on the Hood Canal.
