Only had enough time for a few hours in the early afternoon, but that was enough to earn quality over quantity. Figured the cold weather was putting the trout into the shallows. Slow trolled a bead-headed woolly bugger on a 10ft leader past submerged logs. At first I thought I snagged on the bottom, but my rod received two more solid jerks. A few minutes later, I came up with a very nice 16" rainbow. Clean hook-up in the back of the jaw! This one lived to see another day, as I neglected to stash a stringer in my float tube. Thank goodness there were some leftovers in the fridge for when I got home.
