Went down to the alder st fill for some night walleye fishing. Got there about 6:15pm. I was fishing on the bank facing towards the west side closest to the four way lights. Only a few others fishing when I arrived. No bites until about 8:30 caught two 19 inchers back to back between 8:30 and 9:30...

Watched a guy catch a nice size crapoie and a couple others caught a few walleye. Fish are there and biting. I was using a jig don't know the name but attached a pic so you can see what I caught them on...

My last post people asked if I released the 30.5 incher and yes of course I did....

Get down there early if you plan on getting a good spot! Next time heading to the railroad Trusel behind Walmart will report in with my results. Good luck out there anglers rip some lips

MrX, I have to give you props, kudos, and all other slang awards, not for your fish or method of catching them, but for sharing where, how, and at what time you caught them! Most people WILL NOT divulge the sacred information of their catch and that is somewhat irritating considering we are reading this on a public forum that people "SHARE" their experience and fun with others! Nice work on the share of info, and the nice fish which I'm sure will taste great!

Are walleye stil there? Is it better to fish at night or its just ur preference.? I just dont wan to miss it this year :) tnx for sharing the info. Good luck fishing

Any idea how the bite is from the shore? I'm on vacation next week and thinking of taking my son on a day trip for walleye. By the way, nice report and fish.
