9/28/2016 6:02:00 PMYup. And it's open now because 'they' FINALLY got smart enough to figure out that fishing the lake at this time won't hurt their precious salmon.

9/30/2016 10:50:00 AMI fished Sammamish yesterday. Not much wind, and it was partly overcast most of the day. Had similar experience in shallow and a very slow day. Then we drifted out deep and found good arches. Dropped a camera and saw a nice school of smallies with a few salmon. Lost the position and went to another spot. Moderate one caught in shallow, but not largemouth and nothing really big. Then for a giggle we trolled along looking at sonar in deeper water and found a good amount. Picked up five nice smallies in about 15 minutes. Then went silent except a few more in the next hour. I don't know how to fish cranks effectively, so all drop shot. Very few people out on the lake. This is my first year of fishing Sammamish, so I'm a newbie to the lake and bass.
