After a awesome morning of Kokanee fishing on Deep, we headed to Banks for walleye. We put in at Coulee City and tried north of Goose Island. Tried trolling bottom bouncers with worm harness's and shad raps. We fished for about 3 hours and only caught a whitefish and some weeds.

Didn't mark very many fish on the electronics. The night before the winds were blowing at hurricane speeds, so I don't know if that had any affect on the walleye. Maybe next time.

Thanks for the report, WBD. Sorry it wasn't any better. Hope it was because of that weather system. We're looking at the weekend of the 24th & 25th for the 6 of us to head out there and were thinking maybe Banks vs. Moses Lake and Potholes because of the non-reporting from either of those two. Is it as bad as the lack of reporting implies? I like both Potholes and Moses Lake, and my engine has been working great all summer so I am ready for some bigger water. Hopefully, as the temperatures start dropping, the bite will pick up. Any dates posted for major water level changes? I know that can really mess with the fishing.

DavidA, everyone is salmon fishing so don't take the lack of reports as anything other than a lack of reports.
