Well summer is in full swing up at Rimrock- I've never seen so many people at my "secret" area. Lots of people camping and lots of water toys out on the lake. I got up there Friday night and fished until dark. I didn't find fish in most of my usual areas and only managed to catch two, though I did see a few others jump.

I put up my tent but I forgot a sleeping pad, so it was uncomfortable. Plus something kept moving around my campsite making lots of noise and freaking my out so finally I packed up my tent and headed home to sleep. I came back saturday and fished several hours and only managed to catch one small cutthroat- the only fish I saw today.

Most likely all the fish have moved down to the deep end of the lake for the summer, but the good news is that the water is over 60 degrees so it's good for swimming.

Curious to the noises you herd. I have had several encounters i guess you would call them up in that area as well. At night and dusk. i have hunted fished and camped that area for 45+ years. . Could you tell me what you herd, was it vocal or brush breaking and rustling . Just very curious . thank you Ron

Walking and branches cracking. It was probably elk, but you never know!
