Happy fathers day, all you guys! I took a freind, Ryan, out fishing with me today. Two childless guys, making the most, of a sunny day! We arrived and got fishing, about 8 am. We went to the east end of the lake, and began trying an assortment of koke toys. The fish were there. They were not on a red hot bite. but we did manage 8. Ryan took his five. His hot setup, was a black and white squid, behind a watermellon dodger. I used my docs special. seps, and double hooks. lol. We ended the romp, about 1 pm. Lots of jets and other bullshit, came out. Like maggots on carrion. I dont mind the little things.......I did well, without the need for my new fanged toy the dr gave me. Oxygen. So. the doc', is running out of kokanee seasons. I hope to do roosevelt. i have never been there. I am considerering, a new pickup. Or, one perhaps a couple years old. I could put a camper on it, tow my boat, and try and do it. I know nothing about roosevelt. what launch, would be the closest, to the fish? my boat, is a 14', and, a 20 hp suzuki. Throw in a bbq, im set. lol. Met a nice couple from the site. They were nice people. Maybe, ill try clear tomorrow. sorry, no pics of fish. Most of them, were 13". A few, were like 11".
