Another amazing day. Only fished for 2 hours today and between the 4 of us we got 13 of these fat football shaped11"-13" kokanee in the cooler. We have normally fished the lower lake but the last two times out we have gone to the upper reservoir. Has it payed off the fishing is a little hotter and they are much bigger. We ran the normal 1 to 2 oz banana, dodger, 8 inch leader hoochie with a smile blade., the white corn has been the ticket, anise/ krill pro cure gel. Pink, red, orange with uv for colors. 1.5 mph or so. Our loss rate today was incredible only lost I think 3 fish we had hooked. Trick is getting the tip almost in the water as the fish gets close. Then reel down smooth and steady untill about a foot of line out in front of the weight then sweep the fish and whole rig right up and over the side into the cooler. If you can stay calm and smooth it works great.

those are great fish! FYI, the upper lake is called a "lake", the lower lake is the "reservoir". That's how it is shown on google maps and other sources. Personally, I think they are both reservoirs - the upper lake has an earthen dam at the end of it. Doesn't that make it a reservoir?!?!?!?
Again, great fishing for your and your family!
