Hit Rattlesnake with a friend, about 11:00 on the water.
Memorial day, so to say it was packed in the beach, parking, and generally everywhere is an understatement!
Highlight was the guy who launched guestimated 20-22' sailboat.... with electric motors of course, then proceded to leave his HUGE trailer illegaly parked.

Anyway.... Fishing..
1st time in the water with new to me pontoon boat. Terrible day fiahing for me, mostly learning what works amd what doesn't as far as operating this thing. I dragged an olive woolly bugger around. Floating line, bead head, 12' tippet. Marked tons of fish in the 15-20' depth, in 35' of water. Anywhere shallower than 20' bottom held no fish, mostly.
A lot of fish concentrated about 400 yards South of launch on east side.
Biggest issue for me was realizing my "Pontoon Rod Holder" purchased, was a spinning rod holder.
(I know better, can't believe it did that). So, this killed my fishing, had to sit on my rod, while rowing.
Next issue was my reel froze up, and would not allow for changing the spool to a sinking tip, to get down to the fish.
So that was the nail in the coffin.

My buddy caught two super skinny, 7" fish. Did not see any other hook ups.
