My partner and I fished the west end of the lake about 75 feet off the reeds. We were fly fishing and found olive chironomids to be the most productive as there was a fine hatch going on the entire time we were there. We had some activity on damsel / dragonfly nymphs as well but not nearly as good as the chironomids when fished with a slow hand twist. With polarized glasses I was amazed to see so many large rainbows and we were able to catch many that were 12" to 16". Some friends we were with fished the center of the lake from shore with worms and were also rewarded with success.
