Jerry Hjelle brought friend Bob Brown down to fish with Jeff for some Mackinaw. They pounded the Barrens with good success using mostly Jeff Drifts baited with aging chunks of Northern Pikeminnow. Fishing tight to the bottom at 1.1 mph in depths of 180 to 245 feet was the ticket.

Yesterday, Mike "the jinx" Carey came out and Jeff worked hard for 11 kokanee... Pat Corbett was nice enough to come out and try to correct some of Mike's technique, but what can I say. ..

We have had some really good kokanee days recently too... As the previous day with Shawn Murphy from Chelan can show. The South Shore fireworks as DOT tries to clear the most recent rock slides was a pretty cool sideshow...
