An awesome day with two limits of walleye and one smallmouth bass caught with my Besty Lars on the Potholes reservoir. Snap jigging jiggingraps brought us the walleye today. We found them in 40 to 60 feet of water. By catch of one smallmouth bass.We tried blade baits, but when we switched to the jiggingraps, it was game on! Fished the break along Medicare beach.

Since the lure shown in your link has 5 hooks, can we assume you replace the treble hook with a single hook ? or am i missing something when I read: "Hook and line angling only. Barbed or barbless hooks may be used, and a hook may be single-point, double, or treble, but not more than one line with up to three hooks per angler may be used." in the regs?

Technically, with how I read the regs, This lure has 3 hooks. "...a hook may be single, double, or treble.,...one line with three hooks...may be used."

Another example is a lure with a double treble (6 hook points) or a lure with 3 trebles (9 hook points) are still legal, as each treble only counts as one hook.

Your allowed up to 3 trebles, because a treble hook is 1 hook. I prefer single point, but to each their own.

What size of lure were you using?

Thought Moses and Potholes were froze over, but apparently not if you are fishing from a boat. Is there any ice at all, and what launch did you use?

No bait. Perch and gold silver baits were the most productive.
