I wasn't on Long Lake, I was on Lake Roosevelt. Finally got started fishing about 9am and called it a day @ 3.
Fishing was exceptional up the Spokane Arm for medium sized walleye. I kind of lost count but I know I caught over 25 fish. There were 16 fish between 18-22" and about 10 16-17".
It seems the big fish have not moved in yet. All of my spots were still in 30+ feet of water.
The two lures I caught all of the fish on was 5/8 oz. gold blade bait, and 3" white grub. Retrieve varied between long sweeps then letting the lure sit on the bottom, and real slow twitches. The fish were not very aggressive, many times they were "just there" when you picked up slack in your line.
Water temp was 40.8. I was along so it is tough to take pictures, sorry.
