I fished the main lake on Saturday with the Packernut. We got the overcast skies and no rain that we asked for but there was a little wind issue to deal with. I saw poredictions of up to 12 mph but at times it seemed closer to 15mph or better. It did die down heee and there and allowed it to be a decent trip. We got 4 pike on the day. 26", 28", 33", and a nice 41"er were all released to fight another day. The big one had about 2 1/2 feet of someones steel leader hanging out of her mouth. It was two leaders clipped together. I removed as much of it as I could and watched her swim away. The fish are out there but they certainly aren't bunched up. We had to search several spots to find them. They're still hitting spinnerbaits in about 5-10 feet of water. Water temps were 58-61 degrees throughout the day.
