Woke up at 5 today and headed out to lake rosiger to do some perch fishing. We got to the lake 6 and started fishing in some of our holes for perch around the lake. First 2 hours had produced very little perch but a lot of pumpkin seed panfish and some largemouth bass. We crusied around then things heated up and we started to catch some perch! Everything was going pretty smooth... Then we ran into a surprise I had a huge hit on my little perch rod, The fish was striping line and was a good fight. I thought to myself this is probably a big bass, when we got it in the net to our surprise it was a catfish! We were both dazed and confused that I caught one, A good size one! After that it was nothing but catfish left and right we must have caught 12! We decided to move to a spot where we think that perch would be and then BANG!!! Fishing looked easy!!! Fish constantly one after one. We filled up our bucket and then decided to head out and come back some other time! Had a lot of fun with my dad at the lake. Great fishing!
