Went back to Sammamish today, been doing ok there this summer. But then been doing ok on Sawyer too, some 3 pounders and 4 pounders, and LOTS of little ones too, but needed to blow the carbon out of the boat motor. :-)

Lots of little Largies up to 11". then went hunting Smallies. A few of them in an hour. First area nothing but perch. Second area 2 Smallies at about 1 1/4 and 1 1/2 pounds estimated. Then the third area another little smallie, then got the biggest at 3.63 on the dropshot in 28 foot of water. Another small one then was time to head home. About 4 1/2 hours on the lake. 12 total Bass.

Are you drop shotting to fish located on the fish finder? All fish caught on the drop shot?

Nope, not seeing the fish on the fish finder, I'm casting out in front of the boat as I move along.

All the Largies were on a crankbait, all the Smallies were on the dropshot. Lots of perch on the dropshot.

Nice fish! I still need to try Sammamish. Haven't had the bird out there yet.

How long have you had your Bird? Are you going to the Bird Owners Getogether in Oct? It's in Tenn. I think. Unofficial but it would be fun, but too far away. I've got mine a little better but it still chine walks too much.

Bought the 919 back in April. Still working on getting that first 20 hours on the Merc. I've seen the Tourny info over on the BBC boards but that is one hell of a road trip. Would be fun though! I got her over 70 once but the chine was pretty severe. I keep it in the upper 60's for now until I get a chance to adjust the P2P height around the 20 hour mark. No hydraulic jackplate :(

I bought mine Jan 10th. The chine walk is still very bad. I put it back down where the factory told me to put it after I called them the end of May. Didn't work at all. So I've been adjusting it back to where I had it and more. It's better now, but still way too much. I moved it up another 1/8th today. might get to Sammamish in a couple days, or next week.
