More difficult today than opening day, could not get a pattern going, both in lure choice or depth. Caught fish in depth of water ranging from 43' to 62', 0 size flasher as well as 00 half & half, and 2 colors of pink hootchies, and a rasticle. Caught a total of 4, with 1 being over 7 lbs. largest to date this season. Not to worry if fishing seems a little slow, experience has taught me that as the fish continue to acclimate the fishing will continue to get better, and better.

Saw your guys heading SB I-5 on my way home from work yesterday afternoon, I figured that was where you were coming from.

You guys fishing the A9 opener tomorrow?

No, but I did fish Hein Bank on Saturday, caught 2 Chinook on a blue candlefish hootchie near the bottom in 100ft. of water FYI there are thousands of pinks at Eastern, and Hein Banks. It looked like rain drops with all those fish rolling.

It was tough fishing up there Tuesday I was the guy fishing solo in Freedrifter. I ended up with just the one and only one other opportunity. I ran a temperature profile while I was up there it was 71 degree down to 30-35 feet, 60 degrees at 55-60 feet, and didn't drop below 50 degrees until 90 feet plus. Hopefully we have better luck next time.
