6/9/2015 8:02:00 PMNow that you mention the fry... I caught two smaller kokes on Sunday and their bellies were packed full of baby fry. All about 3/8 to 1/2 inch long. Maybe you're right.

6/10/2015 3:38:00 PMKokanee are filter feeders. Supposedly, they do not eat anything but daphnia and plankton. I am not a scientist though. People use pink because the plankton reflect UV light that is in shades of pink, red and purple. So if they are eating fry maybe they are starving to death.
