I fished Rattlesnake twice these past few days, for a couple hours in the morning on Sunday and Tuesday all day. I didn't arrive yesterday until about 10:30am, got the pontoon in the water, and promptly started hooking trout on a black woolly bugger with a gold bead head and olive body. I fly fished all day and had success on a variety of mostly black buggers. By 4pm I had caught and released some twenty small to good size trout. The weather was nice with a slight wind. I used my anchor and it had no problem holding me on top of the fish, which seemed to come by in big schools. There was two occasions where I hooked a fish while simply dangling the bugger in the water while I released the previous fish. It's been great fishing this spring at Rattlesnake and I'm a big fan of the catch and release/selective gear status of the lake. Some of those planters are getting up in size and they hit really hard. It was also a great learning day for my burgeoning fly fishing skills with a lot learned and lots of casting practice accomplished.
