After seeing Jordan's disappointment in not finishing in the top 3 in the derby on Saturday I wanted to treat her to some fun fishing so set up a trip on Lake Chelan Tuesday that I have been trying to book for the past year and half- finally the stars lined up and we planned on meeting at 7:30 at the boat launch at the dam.

The weather had taken a dramatic plunge from the weekend and was drizzling but fortunately not much wind. We motored up to start our troll up past the state park and soon we were into fish!! It was a blast as the kids took turns reeling in fish from depths of 140 to 220 feet and shot some great video but haven't figured out how to load from my phone to here.

Anyway at noon we had boated 15 lakers and 1 cutthroat and was very pleased with our host as he was great with the kids and shared lots of great info for me to learn how to target these deep dwellers on my own in the near future!
