Decided to go out and fish today, great day to do it, 80 degrees. Started out about 7:30, trying to go after the smallmouth that was bedded down at my dock. In three hours I hooked him twice, but never landed him. Saw a couple largemouth and sunfish chasing my lure. No fish landed, I decided to pack up and go get lunch. I think I saw djbutler out there, lots of boats on the water in the morning.

At around 2:00 PM I decided to go and fish again. In 2 hours I got the smallie hooked, but he got away AGAIN. I have to get this fish!!! Anyways, my buddie was fishing for trout off the bottom, got three in about an hour. I also caught one of the newly stocked jumbo trout. At 3:30 a whole bunch of people came to the dock I was fishing. And I way eventually forced to move, but the people at the dock next to mine were nice enough to let me and my buddy fish over there. He fished for trout while I fished for bass. Couldn't stir anything up so I just decided to fish for rainbows. Fishing for the jumbo rainbows was on fire. I limited out on jumbo rainbows, and released many more. Overall a pretty good day fishing, but lost a rod and a nice pair of pliers.

Hey, that sure was me out there!! I was releasing those jumbos this morning. They put up a fun fight. Glad you got your limit.
