The fishing here at Cady lake has been very slow for about three
weeks. We had one day in the middle of June when there was over
twenty fishermen and only five fish caught. (only day this year with that many people) Just the week before that there were three guys that caught over 40 fish between them. The next day there was one guy in a float tube that caught over twenty fish including a 32" rainbow. There has been three 32" Bows caught this spring. Generally this Spring, the fishing has bee fair to great. The water temp. is not that hot, about 70deg. on the surface. I don't know why the fish have not been bighting lately. We put in about 700 fish this spring, from 8" to 10 lbs. We received about $600.00 in donations from fishermen from November to May and bought that amount of extra fish besides the fish we bought from the manor. We will plant again this fall when the water temp.. goes down. "Thanks" to all the guys who leave a donation
to buy extra fish. So far this year, we have had about 1000 day fishermen with most catching fish. Please fill out catch cards.
