4/28/2015 5:04:00 PMOk, I looked up your post in a thread. You have a boat. But you were fishing from a dock this time.
Halfway up the lake on the east and west side are sorta shallow areas, but deep water is sorta close, depending on a person's absolute definition of 'half way'. lol
So.
Skip a worm or tube texas rigged under the docks next to yours.
Throw a floating plug next to the docks next to yours, let it sit for 20 seconds, twitch it slightly, let it sit for 10 seconds, retrieve it slowly back to your dock.
Throw a spinnerbait past the end of the docks next to yours, as well as throwing the crankbait across the end of the other docks.
If your dock goes out close to deep water, throw a deep diving crankbait in a fan pattern over deep water.
Get a 3/8th oz and 2/5 oz skirted jigs. Throw them next to the docks next to your dock, shallow, deep, and mid length of the docks.. Throw them all over out in deep water. You can fish the bare jig, or put a plastic beaver trailer, or crawfish trailer on it for a little more action.
That is why people need to watch the Youtube videos to see how to rig and fish any given technique.
You aren't the person with the fancy rowboat I talked to a month ago as you/that person was going home for lunch? On the east side, by that sorta private looking park grassy, closed boat launch dock? You were dragging a fly or something around the lake.
And don't forget to call Limit Out Marine in Pacific to see when their next seminar is.

4/28/2015 5:54:00 PMI do have a boat, but i seldom use it because it is hard to transport down to my dock. Its a little 7.5ft Livingston, but I don't have a trailer/dolly to move it down there. The dock I fish at is a "private dock" that I can use through my HOA, and has some pretty good shallows. According to the heat maps, the dock next to mine is one of the shallow areas with rocks that the bass prefer, according to some of the WDFW videos I have watched. I have used a few of these techniques around my dock, but I haven't seen a chaser, which is why I've been asking questions. The bass should be moving into shore but I just don't see them, but in about a month or sooner, tons of perch come to the area with the rocks next to my dock. I have watched and used tips from many youtube videos, but still come up empty. The one thing I haven't used is a jig, but I'll be getting a couple soon, and I'm going to make a trip down to Limit Out Marine this weekend. Hopefully in these next couple of days I can start to get a hang of bass fishing from this dock. Thanks for your advice.

I'm planning on going to Limit Out Sat., probably around 9 or 10am, depending on if I decide to go fishing or not, but probably not, opening day for boating season ya know. Print out a map of Meridian and maybe they can point out areas. If I'm down there I'll point out some areas.
