Great day on the water. The docks are in at Steamboat, so launching is not a problem. All the walleye were caught between 40 and 45 feet. Used a Mack's Lure chartreuse blade with a slow death hook at .5 mph. The fishing isn't awe inspiring but it is consistent. You really can't argue with a limit of walleye put in the freezer. Perch continue to be just a pain, little worm grabbers.
Should be here for a few days and I'll update the report as necessary. The weather is supposed to move in Wednesday Thursday so that should be interesting as far as watching the walleye and where they go.
Spent most of the day at Barker flats, will probably go there in the morning and then proceed down lake from there.
Last thing, All the trolling was done on the electric motor.
Have a great day fishing.
