Got a late start, tried 5mile lake for about an hour with nothing. Headed over to Fenwick about noon.Rain stopped but stayed breazy most of the time. Went to a little opening on the south side of the launch, there were a few guys there but 1 was leaving with his limit. Threw out my bobber with yellow trout nuggets and worm. The wind was really making the bobber drift. 2nd cast and had a nice 14 inch fighter. Then nothing for about an hour. turned away from the lake to talk to the other 2 guys for a minute and I hear my pole slide down, turn around and there he is jumping all around and actually swimming towards the shoreline. By the time I got the pole back to real in he was halfway in. Line snagged on a tree or branch, took a few minutes but got him out and landed him. Almost 15 and this guy was jumping and shaking all the way. Had to bail out around 2, but the fish are still there, everyone says the last few weeks have been slow unless you are in a boat, or weight up and cast as far to the middle as possible and fish the bottom. Too many snags for me doing that.
