went out with a friend and trolled sportsman's cove by suncrest around noon. We were done in a few hours with 2 limits. The trout are averaging a little over 14 inches now with a few pushing close to 15 in. Had a walley spinner harness with a pink blade tipped with nightcrawler on one pole and a orange apex with gulp red crawler on the other. Fishing was so fast didn't need to use the two pole license. We probable lost another half dozen or so. Didn't catch anything else. I have been using crankbaits but so many trout were coming off when they hit them I switched to the apex and catch rate improved tremendously. The meat is definitely getting the orange tint. Still not quite like Roosevelt yet. Good time a 4 mile boat ride from the house so it's nice and easy. You can pretty much have the lake to yourself if you can access it. Only public launch open is in the upriver section a mile down from nine mile dam.

The water is at pretty much normal level.you shouldn' t have any trouble unless you draw more than 5 feet..

agree the lake is full pool. It's drawn down above the dam right now. It's real rocky at the launch so be aware.
