This is a three day report for bitter lake. started Saturday my original plan was to fish Green lk in my aluminum boat. i spent a few hours Saturday morning building some wheels to strap on the back of my boat so i could wheel down to Green lake from the parking lot. I finished my wheels and went for a test drive - pull down my driveway all went well so I loaded boat and gear in truck went in house to tell wife i was going fishing. for some reason i deceided to check the regs. for Green lk. and low & behold i saw it said NO MOTORS ?? I know a lot of the lakes you cant use internal combustable motors but I dont think i have ever seen a lake that you could not use an electric motor.so googled Green lake and motors googel took me right to wa lk . com very nice after reading some old post decided not to go to Green Lake becouse i dont have any regular oars for my boat all i have are some paddles just in case.
So I went to Bitter lake, I normaly use a verity of differant colors of weing rings when lake fishing around here and all ways do well with them had one pole with a red wedingring tipped w/ a worm and decided to put on a dicknite that i had got for salmon fishing in the rivers was looking at hook thinking that it might be to big for trout but put it on. not more than 50 feet from shore fish on with the dicknite within no more than 15 min. later a had all ready landed 3 fish on the dicknite was thinking i better start leting them go or i will have to go home. caught a few on my wedingring but the dicknite was killing them limited Saturday went out Sunday morning around 8:00 am for a few hours was still a little windy but limited out.
Took my son out last night after work and we had fun fishing for a few hours. this is the first time he has gone fishing with me for a long time due to the fact hes is now a big 21 so it was a good nigth
