This report if for Friday the 24th and Staurday the 25th. Hopefully Lucious will post his version of these days as well.
3 of us (Myself, Lucious of Wa. Lakes fame, and his friend Scott) fished the main lake on Friday for a total of 26 pike. We had lots of fish in the 26 to 28" range and most weighed 5-6 pounds with a couple pushing the 8lb mark. Biggest pike Friday was a 34" 10 pounder, and we got a nice 6lb large mouth bass. Only a few pike were under 26". Water temps were 55-56 degrees all day and fish were in and around the weeds. It didn't seem to matter what we threw at them. We caught fish on spoons, spinner baits, frogs crankbaits, big hammer swim baits, and wild eye perch swimbaits. Weather held up good for us. Overcast all day but little to no wind and no rain.

Staurday was a different story fish wise, but the weather was great. We even got some sunshine here and there and not much wind at all. As for fish catching on this day, I personally caught 19 pike and one bass on Friday, then got my rear end kicked on Saturday. I boated 2 small pike in the first 10 minutes of the day, then got blanked the rest of the day. I had several other bites but couldn't manage to hook up. Guess I paid the price for having the hot hand the day before. However, the day was not a total bust. We did manage to boat 7 pike and lose another one right at the boat. Lucious got 3 pike and the one that got off at the boat. Scott was the big winner friday as he got 2 fish with one being a 30"er and the other being a 41 1/2" 20 pound DONKEY!! That's my new term for BIG FISH. ( I stole it from Al Lindner). The 2 pike Scott got on Friday were the first ones he has ever caught. It was gerat to see the rookie catch his first pike, it's just too bad he had to go and show us up the very next day.
It was a great couple days of fishing and a ton of fun to hang out with a couple of good guys. Thanks for coming up and fishing with me guys. We will defenitely have to do it again.
Water temps were again right around 56 degrees for the whole day and fish were on the weeds and a couple were out in open areas close to weed beds.
