This report covers the last week. The busiest part of our year is winding down. September is the best time to be in the Chelan Valley. The crowds are gone. The mornings are cool and crisp. The afternoons are warm and pleasant. And, the fish are still biting. We have caught morning fish off the fringes of the Bar and the State Park Bay. Evening fish have been caught off the tip of Wapato Pt., the face of Manson Bay and the Barrens. As always fish 3 to 5 feet off the bottom at 1.1 to 1.5 mph. We are pulling 3" squid rigs that glow in the dark. Mack's Lure Smile Blades that are big and in glow colors are our go to attractor. We tie them up with tandem hooks and bait the front hook with a piece of Northern Pikeminnow. We use Pautzke's Krill Juice to scent all our blades and rigs. Good Luck out there!
