Last couple times I have fished Sammamish haven't been to productive, usually catch 3 or 4. This morning shazammmmm! Game on!!! On the lake about 6:45 and action was immediate. We ended up with about a dozen nice cutthroats, only one small kokanee and one perch.(all C&R as usual) Cuts ranged from about 14" to about 18". All were nice and fat and full of fight except for one which looked like some kind of mutant. This was really a surprise since Sammamish cuts are usually on the thin side. Only caught one koke which was a surprise since these pesky rascals can be a pain.

Green seemed to be the color of choice this morning. Green hoochie or wedding ring about 12" behind a flasher, tipped with small chunk of worm or maybe a piece of shoepeg. Fished about 40-45 feet down and about 60 feet behind the boat at appx 1-1.5mph. East Sammamish parkway side of the lake. From about 1/4 mile from launch up to the corner by weather bouy roughly 100yds off shore. Bite totally quit at 10:30ish when the sun started to peek thru.

Thanks for the Report. The fish were biting well today. I fished the lake also and got there after 2:00. I fished for perch and peamouth chub. The bite was pretty good on large perch on the East side of the lake about 1 mile up from the launch in 40 feet of water. It was fun feeding the Osprey and Eagles.

Nice report! I've been wondering how the fishing is going on Sammamish lately and it sounds like I need to get the Adorah Jane out there!
