This report is for both Friday and Sunday. Friday I was on the water at 0500 and didn't see another boat until 0945, it was glorious having the whole lake to myself. I caught a total of 32 largemouth, my best day ever numbers wise on Silver. Most were caught on top water baits, now granted 20 of them were dinks between 8-12 inches long. The other 12 broke down like this: 8 between 2 & 2 1/2 lbs and 4 between 3 & 3 1/2 lbs. So nothing real big but I caught a lot of them. I also caught 2 tigers, one hammer handle and the other one was 36 inches, I also got bit off by one and had another swirl at my bait.

Sunday afternoon I took my daughter out and we caught about 9 or 10 largemouth up to 2 lbs. Most were caught on frog baits we towed across the milfoil at the southern end of the lake. Nothing big but watching a bass come up through that stuff is quite entertaining. We stayed mostly at the southern end because all of the water lice were going crazy on the rest of the lake.
