Terrific couple of hours of afternoon fishing on shores of Lake Washington, off Medina beach. Had consistent bites and hookups of smallmouth bass and perch, after enjoying the US Navy Blue Angels afternoon show. Cast from docks into about 10 - 25 feet of water, pulled up a lot of milfoil weed in the process, and along with that came a couple of lunkers, and a medium-sized bass, and one perch. Two smallmouth bass grabbed my Texas-rigged Senko worms trimmed to about 4-1/2 inches, and the fight was on. Using 8# test line, these guys fought hard, and one of them was the biggest bass I've ever landed. I'm estimating it at about 4-1/2 pounds, but that's just a guess - see attached photo. The dock boards are about 6-inches wide. My last outing along the shores of Lake Washington in Coulon Park was a bust, but conditions have definitely changed, and I'm looking forward to more big ones pulled from these waters. Good luck.
