7/28/2014 12:37:00 AMSometime I hope you will make the short hike into the lake that is between Coal and Independance.
I want hear about that one.
(Another alpine lake that produced 30+ fish days when I was a kid, is Lake Josephine, located behind the Stevens Pass Ski area, along the Pacific Crest Trail)

7/28/2014 5:41:00 PM@ motoboat, no i didnt swim, but there were others who did, they swore and yelled how cold it was too, lol. i felt with my fingers.
@ quadfather i will hit pass next weekend and write up a report.
@ chromer wrong. most alpine lakes get stocked with fry yet fish only reach 9" at full maturity in many of them, coal lake for example gets 7'" as full grown adults, but in lake chitwood( 100% wild) they get as big as 18" your logic is dead wrong.
