I headed to Lost Lake Sunday afternoon with a buddy and found a nearly deserted campground and completely deserted (albeit windy) lake all to ourselves. The campground was surprisingly clean given the holiday weekend. We set up camp and headed out with the pontoons. The wind had calmed a bit and we headed to the far end of the lake, trolling wedding rings, dick nites, flys, and various other gear for trout and kokanee along the way. We settled into a spot with a creek running off into a small bay in the lake and my buddy hooked a kokanee. We continued to troll in that location and I was getting lots of hits but no hookups on wedding rings or dick nites. We pulled the pontoons out at the creek and plopped some powerbait in and while those soaked we scattered some mepps spinners into the water where the creek was feeding into. I hooked a nice one on a copper mepps and sent it on its way. We trolled back to the launch (adjacent to our campsite, which was convenient) and had lots of hits along the way. I was thinking they were little brook trout as these fish have tiny little mouths geared towards eating bugs and not even wee dick nites and their wee hooks could connect. A fly fisherman would land a lot of fish at this lake fishing the evening hours along the shore. We got a bit of a late start on Monday morning and the fishing was noticeably slower, although there were some nibbles and my buddy landed a 10" brook. The scenery was incredible and with the clear water and polarized lenses I had a blast watching groups of brook trout (some quite large) follow my spinners in and swirl below my pontoon.

Yes, I know that little cove with the incoming stream, well. Nice to read your report, and equally nice to hear that the place wasn't obliterated with trash this time. For some reason that is a site that people really abuse.
