Arrived at boat launch around 6:35pm. Water was nice and choppy from the wind just the way i like it! I learned that the wind make an easier crappie fishing!. I pedal my kayak to the nice wide dock on the south end 1st. Casted my bobber 20ft in front of the dock and patiently waited for the choppy current water drift it toward the dock-finally on the 3rd cast"fish on! A 10" caught couple more here and there. Than it died. I than move to my fav location snd anchored-fished the spot till the end of day. Start out slow @ 8:20pm caught fish almost instant ranging from 6-8" all released. At end of the day i didnt do too bad kept 8 crappies 9-12.5"

Thanks for the report young angler! I'm hoping to get out there today to take advantage of the activity - if not, then it'll be some time this week.

Nice work! I left the lake early last night, decent 9" perch but mostly small ones and no crappie. I keep fishing the north end though maybe I should try south again. Are you using a jig for the crappie?

Yes! I was using 1/32 oz crystal clear jig tipped with mini night crawler> 3ft under a mini bobber. Northside on the tree piling is good also i dont ish cause its too far for me to paddle
