Walleye fishing on Banks Lake has been hot and cold. One day its limits of 17-24 inch fish, then the next day its a couple of keepers and a bunch of undersized fish. The bigger walleye have really been on the move. They will hold up in an area for maybe a couple of days then they will move and you have to find them again.

They were loaded up at Poplar Point over the weekend, but have now moved on as an example.

Macks Lures Smile Blade/Slow Death hook, Wally Pops, and the Double Whammy Walleye Series have all been very productive.

Key areas have been Poplar Point, the face of Steamboat Rock, Rose Bush, and areas around Goose Island at the south end.
