I needed to sleep in and not feel rushed so I went to Clear Lake.
I was on the water at 9:15am done about 11am. I got them around 35 feet down on the cable in 65-80 foot of water. I started with stacked gear. Squiddy Thang Pink attached to a Dick Nite Chartuese Hothead was on the bottom (deepest) and Pink Splatter Squiddy behind a Dick Nite Pink Splatter dodger on the upper which is 10 foot up the cable.
After I caught one on the bottom (STPink) I switched the positioning and put Pink Splatter on the bottom. The next kokanee went up to the STPink and I brought it in. Trolled around for awhile then brought in the Pink Splatter and I had been dragging a little one around so I kept him for lunch, kokanee fish sticks.
Reset everything again and finished around 11am with the other 3. It was suppose to be cloudy but the sun peaked out quite a bit. There was a breeze with gusts to a windy status but steering was doable.
The biggest kokanee was 11.5 inches.

All my fish were brought in using Izorline Platinum Hi-vis 10lb test. The lure uses 15lb clear Izorling Platinum.

Great pictures as usual Toni. I love the plate presentation of the fish, tartar, and veggies...Have we been watching Iron Chef or Chopped? :)

Nice job. You always seem to do well no matter where you fish. Those fish sticks look tasty..

I do watch cooking shows. They are fruit not veggies. Kokanee are a very versatile fish and can be served in so many ways.

Nice fish Toni! I'm partial to smoked kokanee, I could eat it just about every day.
