Well, first time fishing Banks today, and it took me to school! My adult son and I drove over to Banks from Lake Chelan, rented a boat from Coulee Playland, bought a fishing map of the lake, got some tips from the Playland folks and hit the water. We stayed on the North end of the lake from Devils Punchbowl and Steamboat Rock back up to Electric City.
Cranks, Senkos, jigs, tubes, shallow out to 30 feet or so, etc., etc. If we were counting Smallmouth under 8" this report would have been a "5"...we couldn't keep the dinks off. Lost one bigger fish and kept one 18" walleye, otherwise NADA. We saw some nice bass in the water, but couldn't get them to commit.
Weather was sunny and hot topping out about 80 degrees. Water temp approaching 65. It's a beautiful lake with great scenery and deep, rocky, clear water.
