Hit the lake twice today. Once in the morning and then back for seconds in the evening. Bite was hottest from about 10-12. Caught lots of smallies, most about a pound. Biggest was just over 2. Lost a good one right at the boat when my knot slipped… maybe someone will catch a nice one with a Norman Crankbait in its face. There is a ton of baitfish in the shallows, and most of the fish we caught were spewing up chunks of them while trying to spit hooks. Also caught a real small trout (possible salmon yearling?) and a handful of those nasty squawfish.

Lost a nice rod & reel combo right out in front of boat launch. If there are any scuba divers seeking a treasure hunt I have a pretty good idea where it went in. I'd be willing to pay some $ for it…message me if you are interested.
