Even though we limited, its only getting three stars. Today was the first day this season that I had to work for these fish. Changing baits, lures, scents, trolling speeds. I used gear that has never seen water before in hopes of getting a fish to bite, and sure enough about 10am I found the ticket. We caught 20 nice Kokanee ranging from 12-16", with the biggest being 16.25" and about a pound and a half. (wish I had that one Saturday)

Ill be continuing my Lake Stevens Kokanee trips through the end of the month then I will be switching over to my jet sled and fishing the Skykomish for Steelhead and Chinook!

I have been looking for the Lake Chelan report. Good show on Stevens. With the size not far from Lake Chelan, but much closer to home.

They Started spraying alum in the lake to kill off the algae bloom I sure hope thats not hurting our fish since thats what the zoo plankton feeds on.
