Fishing still great at Pass Lake, but by all means, please don't go there at night!
I saw about half a dozen boats on the lake last Saturday night. This will no longer be tolerated and the law will be enforced.
Editor's Note: I received this information from WDFW regarding Pass Lake. Reader's are reminded that some people will use this web site to spread disinformation. Not a very nice thing to do, but so it goes. (a good clue is they never leave me their e-mail address). Always know your regs before you go to fish your favorite spot. Mike
Thank you for your e-mail correspondence to the Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife (WDFW) Fish Program.
As noted on the top of Page 57 in the 2001/2002 Fishing in Washington regulations pamphlet, Fresh Water areas are open 24 hours unless otherwise noted. Pass Lake in Skagit County is open year round, but is Fly Fishing Only - Catch & Release Only & Motors Are Not Allowed.
If you have further questions, please email again or call (360) 902-2700. Our Customer Service hours are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.
