5/8/2014 5:34:00 AMHad sharp hooks on everything, but I'm going to be checking this morning when I get to the lake in 1/2 hour. The crankbait was new and I sharpen hooks on all new lures pretty much as soon as I get them in the house. After that one got off I noticed a bed looking spot, so later threw in the dropshot, had the fish on for awhile and she got off again. Looked to be a good 3 lber Smallie as was another that I got close enough to the boat before she got off the senko in another part of the lake. I'm going after that one first, then the other. We'll see. The Largie had no problem eating the crankbait the past couple days. The Smallies are probably more interested in chasing the lure away rather than eating it.
