First time tO Wallace lake, left for the lake @ 9:00 am arived up at lake at 10:45 was a nice hike considering a have not been hiking for a long time. walked around to the far end of lake and started out by throwing out a worm with a bobber while i was blowing up my raft.As soon as i was done airing up my raft the rains came and came down hard,so i went in to the trees to wait it out and ate lunch the rain last only about 15 min. or so.
got out on lake and started troling around about 20 or 30 yards off shore. wasn't long before i had my first fish on
was about a 9 or 10" cutthtroat. Then the rain came back and thats when my pole almost got pulled out of my raft
was not ready for that lol fought it for a few min. then it was gone it felt like a big fish but i never did get a look at it. A little while later had another one on and it put up a good fight and i landed that one. had a few more bites but no more hookups

Nice looking cutty. How did you get to the lake so fast? Were you riding a mountain bike?
